I started sailing at the age of 5 with our family boat, for the following 10 years we sailed all over the Mediterranean. Since then I have continued to sail in Sardinia, Corsica, Tuscany, Liguria, the French Riviera and the Balearics.

I have owned several boats, managed a charter company with a fleet of 7 sailboats. I have participated as helmsman in various regattas including the Pirelli Rolex Cup, the Giraglia, and various winter championships. I have always been active in rehabilitation sailing, with a project aimed at children with mental and physical disabilities.
