SALIVOLI – PUNTA CALAMITA – GULF STELLA – 4 HOURS OF NAVIGATION

Let’s set sail on our one-week itinerary to the Island of Elba. With a beautiful 3-hour sailing we round “Punta della Calamita”, whose name derives from the ancient iron mines. Here we will stop at the Remaiolo beach for a swim and a nice lunch in one of the most evocative panoramas of the island. On one side the old mines still visible from the sea, on the other an incredible play of colors in the water thanks to the presence of minerals in the sandy bottom.

In the afternoon a bit of sailing fun to sail up the Golfo Stella, the first of the 3 large gulfs on the southern side of Elba. We’ll head towards Norsi beach, where you can spend an evening in the frame of the gulf overlooked by Capoliveri, and a small chiringuito on the beach with a simple atmosphere and excellent Mojitos.

GOLFO STELLA – LACONELLA – FETOVAIA – 2 HOURS OF NAVIGATION

After breakfast and a nice refreshing swim, we set off again to discover one of the most beautiful beaches on Elba, the Laconella beach, in the gulf of Lacona. Here we will find turquoise and crystalline water, on seabeds of clear sand that descend gently to the beach. It will be a morning of diving, swimming and relaxing, as if we were anchored in a huge swimming pool.

In the afternoon a bit more sailing to head towards the Caribbean fetovaia beach on the southwestern tip of the island. We will spend the night here to continue the next day towards Capraia. Last bath and another evening immersed in nature, under a sea of stars.

FETOVAIA – CAPRAIA (GAVITELLO) – NAVIGATION HOURS 5

We set sail in the morning for the island of Capraia, about 4/5 hours away by boat. Swim and lunch at anchor in one of the coves on the east coast of the island, such as Cala del Ceppo. Superb places for snorkelling with variety of sea bottoms and amazing fish.

In the afternoon we will move in front of the town, to go ashore and discover this little marvel of the Mediterranean, among sea-view cafes and restaurants specializing in fresh fish and crudités.

CAPRAIA – MARCIANA MARCIANA (PORT) – 4 HOURS OF NAVIGATION

In the morning we will visit a new cove on the island of Capraia, between the clear water of Cala della Mortola to the north, or the suggestive cliff of Cala del Moreto on the southern tip.

In the early afternoon we set off again towards the port of Marciana Marina. Here we will spend the night in the marina to treat ourselves to a nice hot shower, a dinner out and an evening in the streets of this characteristic Elba village.

MARCIANA – SANT’ANDREA – VITICCIO – 2 HOURS OF NAVIGATION

We let go of the moorings from the port of Marciana to head a little further west, in front of the village of Sant’Andrea. Anchored on granite sand in front of a characteristic cliff. On one side a narrow path that passes between the rocks connects two small beaches, on the other the cliff extends creating a natural pool about 40 cm deep. The show continues under the sea with a mask and snorkel!

In the afternoon we will then move towards the gulf of Procchio, to the beach of Viticcio. Postcard sunset and evening surrounded by nature.

VITICCIO – PALMAROLA – SALIVOLI – 3 HOURS OF NAVIGATION

Awakening in a large natural pool where you can swim and relax cradled by the sea. We will stay here for the morning. After lunch we move a little further into the Gulf of Procchio, to the Paolina beach. Characterized by the nearby islet covered by Mediterranean scrub, it owes its name to the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte, who joined him on Elba during his exile, and she seems to have been enchanted by the colors of the water.

In the afternoon we still have time for a last stop at the islet of Palmaiola where we can enjoy the last swim of the week among a multitude of fish, before returning to the port of Salivoli
